Airlines: hopefully not up in a cloud of smoke

When ash covered Europe earlier this month, passengers and airlines turned to social media to communicate above the chaos. There were over 50 thousand tweets in just a few days, and that was just one social platform. Which just shows how mainstream social platforms have become.

I’ve been talking to a European airline that wants to track conversations online about its brand. It could be a very interesting project indeed.
