Today we announced the launch of yourBusinessChannel Southend, an online TV channel dedicated to profiling Southend businesses, that we’re producing in partnership with local businessman Baiju Solanki.

I first met Baiju at a networking event. He had just been named Southend’s Businessman of the Year and was mulling over ideas to promote the business community in Southend. The idea of collaborating on a tv channel was one he immediately saw the value of – an opportunity to become established as a hub among businesses in the region, while at the same time providing them with something of genuine value and interest – affordable, internet-based marketing tools and content.

yourBusinessChannel Southend will be a hub for promoting businesses in the region, featuring interviews with successful Southend business people along with blog posts, articles, promotions and relevant information about business in Southend. Like all yBC content we’re looking to produce short, information-rich shows that attract viewers to the site, but which companies can also repurpose and screen on their own websites or distribute via email using our VIP player.
