Social marketing and high end retail

I am flushed with success! I have recently spent many hours putting together an introductory briefing to social marketing for a group of high end retailers as part of our work with with Executive Search firm

I wasn’t sure how open or educated they’d be on the subject, but I tried to show them the detailed data you can get about the conversations people are having online by exploring specific events – like the opening of Louis Vuitton’s Bond St store (or “maison” as they call it), or the vuvuzela issue at the World Cup.

Results: they were into it! If you can measure it, managing it becomes more interesting it seems.
