yBC Founder Mark Sinclair can fly. Not in the Superman sense, but he has a Private Pilot’s licence and, when current, can fly light aircraft.
For the past five years as part of our Giving Back programme, Mark has been helping an flying focussed not-for-profit to lift its communications game. The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of New Zealand Inc is a fantastic organisation dedicated to advocating for General Aviation pilots.
AOPA has over 430,000 members worldwide, spread over 66 countries, each dedicated to furthering general aviation in their own country. AOPA NZ provides a unified voice for pilots in New Zealand by building relationships with Government and regulatory bodies to ensure members’ views are represented, with the aim of preventing any increasing costs and restrictions being placed on private and recreational flying.
yBC is proud to be in its fifth year of helping the organisation with a full suite of communications services, including:
- A comprehensive but simple communications strategy (with varying focus over time)
- Various video projects (ongoing)
- Building of a new member portal, and working on content as required.
- Regular digital comms (regular member eComms and Short Approach)
- Ad-hoc PR and crisis comms
- Social media
- Development of marketing assets (posters, banners adverts, rolling video presentations for screens for previous AGMs, Warbirds and more)
- Development of the initial brand, website and marketing assets for the charitable trust
Examples of just a handful of the projects we’ve delivered are below.
