When Asia-based firm Nikko Asset Management approached us with a brief around their ESG capability, we knew that we would need to develop something with significant impact.
It had been decided at the senior management level within the organisation that everybody in the business should be given one centralised tool to ensure that investors, stakeholders, and those looking at the business would be in no doubt whatsoever that ESG is at the heart of the firm’s investment capabilities.
The project was driven from within the marketing department, but overseen by the company’s CEO who took a personal interest from start to finish.
We planned the architecture of the platform, worked closely with the client to develop the content from a combination of materials supplied by the client and also interviews with key people in the business, pulled together high-quality graphic design elements and then focused on building the platform.
The resulting platform is a tool which is being used by people throughout the business to help explain the place of ESG.
The project has attracted so much interest within the business that the scope and scale of the platform has grown significantly and as a result is even getting further use than originally intended.
