Getting young people to think aviation

When not-for-profit organisation AOPA NZ decided to set up a charitable foundation to encourage young people to get into General Aviation, they recognised that they needed a new brand.

Enter yBC and its sketchbook. Founder Mark Sinclair worked with AOPA NZ executive members to develop a simple and clear brand strategy for the new brand. We looked at the goals of the organisation, the target audience and other organisations (broadly) in the same space. Crucially, we worked on naming options.

And ThinkAviation was born.

Whilst this was one of the more simple/concise branding projects we’ve undertaken, it was certainly great fun!
